STL-Scientific is structured around the development of precision instruments that continuously measure external forces creating displacement and relative rotation between two or more objects. The primary thrust of the work of the firm's principals organizes around development of new techniques remotely to characterize structural deformation of bridges, buildings, oil/gas infrastructures, dams, aeroplanes, spacecraft, power plants, etc. In collaboration with Jthe head of Caltech Robotics research group), the firm is also implementing the technology on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
