Affecting over 30M patients worldwide, Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI) is a unmet need involved in 40,000+ amputations annually in the US alone. Existing interventions lack durability such that many/most patients require repeat intervention within months. The firm's Guidance by Ultrasound Imaging and Delivery Enhancement of Therapeutics (GUIDE-Tx) platform is an intravascular ultrasound system using a catheter mounted ultrasound device to image the vessel and improve drug delivery. This enables interventionalists to see diseased vessel, to treat that vessel, and to verify treatment with one platform.
