Solution Deposition Systems, Inc. ("SDS") is developing technology and equipment for the low temperature aqueous solution deposition of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) films to be used as Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) layers, which are critical components of Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Organic LED (OLED) based Solid State Lighting, Thin-Film Photovoltaic Solar Cells, Smart-Windows, and Flat Panel Displays. The aim is to provide a lower-cost alternative to Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) for TCO layers, as ITO is limited in supply.
