Simatra Modeling Technologies was founded by a group of researchers from the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Simatra's goal is to provide high-performance computing for numerical simulations at a fraction of the cost and programming overhead of traditional high-performance systems. Simatra has developed a breakthrough compiler technology for applications in bioscience and medical research. The core technology developed through this research will provide a platform to develop innovative solutions not only for the biosciences, but also finance, climatology, computer-aided engineering, and industrial and systems controls
