S2 Corporation was spun out of Scientific Materials Corporation coincident with the acqusition of the latter by FLIR Systems in 2005. S2 provides creative solutions for multiple Department of Defense customers. S2's areas of focus include radar, signal processing, communications, frequency stable lasers and cryogenics, for both military and commercial applications. S2 Corp is advancing extreme wideband sensors, expanding the possibilities and capabilities of radio frequency and data signal processing in a dynamic environment. Focused to development and advancement of their spatial spectral holographic processing capabilities, their core system, known as the extreme bandwidth analyzer and correlator (ebac) can be configured to support many applications including (but not limited to): Electronic warfare & signal intelligence; Analog signal processing and data mining; Continuous/persistent rf spectral monitoring; Geo-location of transmitters; Time difference of arrival (tdoa); Direction finding (df); Adaptive and covert rf communications;True-time delay; Arbitrary waveform generation; Cueing & warning receiver. The system is currently configured to process radio frequencies between 0.5 - 20 ghz, but can be modified to cover all frequencies up to 40 ghz, or even 110 ghz instantaneously!
