Rockfish Research is a small engineering research and development company located in Richmond, Virginia. We pursue a range of innovative technologies and creative approaches in the area of systems and software architectures. We are currently developing software products for use in the modeling, simulation, development, and management of complex, dynamic and intelligent systems. These support designing, visualizing, and automating systems that incorporate multidimensional, intelligent, and highly dynamic information models. We are also pursuing modeling and simulation centric approaches for building and evaluating distributed architectures of intelligent components that leverage emergent and adaptive behaviors. Our services can be subcontracted for several project support roles and allow public and private organizations. We compete and perform projects of the U.S. Department of Defense, usually under the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. Our capabilities range from the complete development of software systems to offering unbiased expert peer-reviews of architecture and design documents, to maximize the potential of a company's existing staff.
