Redpoll LLC is a self-certified, small disadvantaged business providing R&D services to federal government, primarily in areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced algorithms.Through past prime federal contract awards, Redpoll has provided research and development of nonparametric approaches for detecting novelty in open-world domains, as well as unsupervised probabilistic techniques to improve mutual consistency ensurance in artificial intelligence systems. These services were provided through Other Transaction Agreements with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). As a subcontractor on federal grants, Redpoll has provided research and development on topics such as open world intelligence through composition of nonparametrics. The prime grantees for these awards were Rutgers University, and the grants were issued by unnamed federal agencies. Redpoll currently holds an Other Transaction IDV from DARPA to support research efforts under the AGGEN program, which seeks to develop generative agriculture technologies to achieve global food security. Task orders under this IDV will fund Redpoll's work on developing computational techniques like generative models and simulations to design optimized crops and agricultural systems. The period of performance and places of performance will be defined at the task order level.
