Working in partnership with Marquette University's Water Quality Center to launch the firm, Rapid Radicals Technology, LLC (RRTech) is structured around offering advanced, high-rate treatment of wet weather flows during high-intensity rain events. With a focus on preventing combined or sanitary sewer overflows and basement backups during major storm - both posing environmental and public health risks - the approach is to direct the weather-created flow through the RRTech system during a storm event. That approach enables rapid treatmentof water flow -- an advanced two-process continuous flow treatment train that can then be safely discharged to receiving waters in less than 35 minutes. The technology can also be used as a mobile unit for high-level treatment accessible as a valuable asset during disaster recovery efforts.
