Public Profile

Products and services available from PnP include: WiFi Beagle offering businesses a comprehensive and automatic way to monitor and analyze the activity of their Wi-Fi hotspots. Installed on a computer on the business’ local area network, the WiFi Beagle Monitor continually gathers information about network traffic, customer activity, and security. The system tracks behavior of different customers while also protecting the privacy of each individual. PnP's NetBeagle eliminates the headaches of installing and operating small and home office wireless and wired networks that are connected to the World Wide Web via broadband Internet connections. When installed on the network computers or embedded in network routers or wireless access points, NetBeagle software watches over the network, identifying problems and resolving them whenever possible, often before they are even noticed by users. Applied Technology PnP Networks has created a new infrastructure that provides just the information and insights needed to ensure effective network operation, while remaining completely compatible with existing equipment and protocols (including UPNP and Rendezvous) and providing critical security and privacy protection. PnP has designed the "eyes", "ears", and "hands" of self-maintenance technology with a new peer-to-peer overlay network, the Collaboration Bus. On a running network, the Collaboration Bus constantly monitors traffic patterns and identifies problems that could cause failures, such as congestion, intrusion, software incompatibility, or hardware failure. All this is done with standard networking hardware, protocols, and software. PnP has taken advantage of the latest advances in machine learning to create a cognitive system that can diagnose and repair networks based on its own field experience, not just "book learning." The reinforcement learning program examines the measurements of network variables, compares them with known fault patterns, and, based on past experience, tries the most likely repairs.
