SBIR-involved from soon after founding of the firm in 1995 and still very much program-active (Sroinf 2021), Phoenix Integration, Inc. develops software for engineering automation, integration, and design optimization. In mid-May 2021 it was announced that Phoenix Integration Inc had been acquired by ANSYS for an undisclosed amount. The acquired companys products are used to enable integration of models and simulations, process automation, results visualization, and data management in the conceptual and preliminary stages of product design and systems analysis. The firm has developed an innovative software framework -- Phoenix Integration Software Suite -- for flexibly meeting the needs of Simulation Driven Design. Working within the framework, engineers are able to create and maintain a library of modeling and simulation tools and simulation workflows, automatically execute the workflows, leverage high performance computing resources to perform trade studies and ask "what-if" questions, and archive, manage, and share the resulting data and meta-data. Phoenix Integrations ModelCenter® is the environment for Model Based Engineering. ModelCenter® is a vendor-neutral software framework for creating and automating multi-tool workflows, optimizing product designs, and enabling Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Used by leading organizations worldwide to reduce development costs, improve engineering efficiency, stimulate innovation, and design more competitive products, successful applications can be found across multiple industries: aerospace, automotive, defense, electronics, energy, heavy industry, and shipbuilding.
