With the Phase I of this project originally awarded to Sample6 - based in Massachusetts - conduct of Phase II was assumed by Seattle WA based Phage Diagnostics a wholly subsiduary of the IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group. Focused on modernizing food safety delivering innovative solutions that shifted emphasis from reaction to prevention, Sample6 aimed to be the central hub for all food safety-related data and provide value-added analytics, equipping participants throughout the food value chain with products and information that reduce their challenges and minimize risk. The Sample6 DETECT test system had been developed to enable food processors to identify points of Listeria and Salmonella contamination on-site and in-shift to reduce food safety risks. IEH, through its wholly owned subsidiary Phage Diagnostics, is primarily focused on making the DETECT technology available at every point along the food safety market chain.
