PAIR Technologies manufactures and markets the Planaraze platform of mid-infrared analytical instruments that employ planar array detector technology. The Planaraze instruments are based on the planar array IR (PA-IR) instrument first developed at the University of Delaware by John Rabolt, Bruce Chase and their colleagues in 2000. The Planaraze instruments contain no moving parts and hence are portable, rugged and scalable in size. Since they employ the latest in planar array detection technology, the instruments are also ultrafast, capable of obtaining an IR spectrum in as little as 70 µsec
