Public Profile

Wave energy has the potential to become one of the greatest low-impact sources of clean power generation on a global scale. To that end, Oscilla Power is structured around developing unique wave energy conversion (WEC) equipment to harness the power of ocean waves. The Triton - OPI’s flagship wave energy converter - has undergone years of concept development, product validation, laboratory, and small-scale ocean trials to confirm its viability. Oscilla is designing Triton systems with multiple energy capabilities, i.e. 1MW (Utility scale) and 100kW (Community scale) for specific application requirements. The the 100kW Triton-C system wasscheduled for deployment during 2021 at the Kaneohe Marine Corps base in Hawaii. This will be followed by the 1MW Triton module in the near future, which can be arrayed to provide multi-MW power plants.
