This technology allows hospital administrators to allocate operating room resources in the most cost-effective way, create staffing schedules that match case volume, identify problem areas of underutilization and overutilization, and make optimal day-of adjustments when things don't go as planned. The firm has tested this technology at the Tulane Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Oakland and seen over 20% improvements in start and end estimation times, as well as 13% PACU duration estimation and 29% improvement in turnover estimation.
