NewsGuard employs trained journalists - not algorithm - to rate thousands of news organizations. The firm displays credibility ratings directly in users' browsers through the firm's browser extension and mobile app: data used by platforms, advertisers, and other partners to combat digital misinformation and provide users with context for online information they encounter.
