Public Profile

Nerites Corporation had been organized around synthetic biomaterials that enabled natural tissue repair, reduced postoperative complications, and safely degrade when they are no longer needed. The company offered surgical sealants, adhesives, and anti-fouling coating products, used to close internal tears and voids, affix synthetic and biologic devices, prevent bacterial biofilm formation and post surgical adhesions, and immobilize local therapeutics. Formerly known as MBM Technologies, Inc., in June 2004 management changed name to Nerites Corporation. Following acquisition of the firm in January 2011, Nerites Corporation has operated as a subsidiary of Kensey Nash Corporation.
