Utilized for the removal of pollutants from wastewater streams in industrial and energy markets. These specialty chemicals are frequently used independently or as an additive to other established product formulations. NanoActive materials are available as powders, granules, and liquid suspensions. NanoScale was founded in 1995 to develop nanotechnologies from Kansas State University. In 2003, NanoScale introduced its first commercial product, FAST-ACT® (First Applied Sorbent Treatment Against Chemical Threats), and expanded its manufacturing capabilities to grow from small research samples to large-scale production. Registered since 2005 to ISO 9001:2000 by NSF-ISR the company maintains 41 current national and international patents, with over 50 applications pending. NanoScale pro-actively identifies, collaborates, and pursues mutually rewarding partnerships with both private and government sectors to provide unique solutions to challenging projects.
