Though the firm - Marine Fire Systems - has no apparant online presence, it is apparent that the founding principal has a strong and substantial record in related endeavors over many years. The primary effort and focus is to address the serious issue of Li-ion batteries having the potential to initiate fires and possible explosion. for which traditional fire extinguishing agents are almost entirely ineffective. The objective of the funded project will be to develop new formulation(s) and produce solid aerosol agent panels which can be tested against challenging battery fires.
