With the firm now operating out of the MA-based Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Loop CO2 is a start-up originally spun out of University of Minnesota structured round converting CO2 into chemical recyclables: Thermal Elastomer Polymers, glues, and coatings. Anchored in re-using the CO2 from the atmosphere and continuously to turn them into valuable product that can/will replace the existing fossil-based plastics The firm's research is also designed to permit/enable depolymerized back to their original monomer and to enable re-used via a recycling mechanism.
