Lightwave Photonics, Inc. (LPI) was established in order to commercialize advanced LED technology. The firm provides service, new materials and new device designs for customers looking for Engineered Epitaxial Templates for Gallium Nitride based LEDs and LASERs. LPI currently provides the only commercially available conductive, reflective, and lattice matched templates for subsequent epitaxial growth of Gallium Nitride based LEDs and Lasers, products to allow the firm's customers to achieve sub-micron optical cavity thicknesses, improved device performance and reduced manufacturing costs. GEMM and PhC-GEMM templates are available on Sapphire or Silicon Substrates up to 4" in Diameter.
