Public Profile
LaunchPad Central Inc has developed a SaaS platform application for early stage investors and entrepreneurs to reduce the odds of failure. Government Agencies and Universities use the Application, along with over 2,000 teams in academia, enterprise, and accelerators. The application enables teams to track and analyze the evolution of their business model through time. The aim is to increase transparency and engagement with mentors and investors managing a portfolio of teams using a highly experiential framework that provides rigor and discipline necessary to help startups search for repeatable, and scalable, business models. LPC does this by capturing the metrics that really matter for early stage ventures (the number of customer interviewed to validate or invalidate their business model hypotheses, the number of experiments being run, the number of mentor engagements), tracking lean startup analytics, and bringing visibility across the entire portfolio. Nearly fifty universities worldwide have adopted this program and re-tooled their curriculum, while more than thirty incubators and accelerators have adopted the LLP as a formal process. The firm's approach is based on co-founder Steve Blankâs Lean methods for rapid iteration and growth, which were chosen in 2011 by the National Science Foundationâs Innovation Corps to be the system standard for accelerating the transformation of government-funded scientific and technical projects into real-world commercial application
