Firm previously called just Kairos engaged in multidisciplinary research is aimed at developing novel instrumentation, reagents, enzymes, and methodologies in the fields of biotechnology, microscopy, medicine, and materials science. By integrating optical design and software engineering with molecular genetics, we have developed a new series of instruments for imaging pigmented and fluorescent materials. Users of this imaging technology can, for example, obtain absorption and fluorescence spectra for every pixel in the field of view. Massively parallel spectroscopy pioneered by KAIROS facilitates high throughput screening by employing innovative computer algorithms for rapid processing and concise display of hyperspectral and kinetic data.
