JKA Genomics is the genotyping services division of JK Autoimmunity (JKA). JKA started as a spin-off of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation based on patented autoantibody technologies developed by Drs. James, Kaufman, and Harley. The acronym JKA stands for Judi Ken Autoimmunity. Since its founding, JKA has expanded into DNA pooling technology and currently offers a number of products designed for genetic association studies at a drastically reduced rate, compared to individual samples. The JKA Genomics mission is to provide scientists with a turnkey solution for their large-scale genotyping needs. Services combine the tools, methodologies, and expertise to help investigators achieve robust results without investing substantial sums for many individual assays, genotyping equipment, or informatics infrastructure to house and analyze the high volumes of data generated during analysis. All genotyping services offered by JKA Genomics are designed to accelerate scientific discovery pertaining to human health. We have the experience needed to complete large-scale genotyping efficiently and rapidly. We further streamline the process by treating each individual client as a collaborator. Our scientists will work closely with you and assist at every step, from testing design to results analysis. DNA Pooling Service-the first and most significant step in enabling investigators to identify genes associated with disease or other phenotypes at very low cost and with high degrees of accuracy and power. Microarray Analysis Services employs state-of-the-art genotyping platforms, allowing us to save investigators even more with further economies of scale. Informatics Service adds to these economies, allowing researchers to offload requirements for the significant processing power, disk space, and software needed to store and analyze data generated during genomic analysis. Results are made available to investigators through our secure, password-protected web portal.
