Developing a unique elevator solution for skyscraper-class buildings,unlike traditional elevator systems Hyprlift's elevators do not rely on cables to hoist the cab. Instead, the overall system is one of self-propelled electric vehicles that are not bound to a single shaft. Instead, elevators can navigate autonomously throughout multiple shafts using an onboard dynamic-tractive drive system that engages with the shaft and propels the cabs at high speeds. This very different operaing system enables multiple cabs to travel within the same shaft. This approach increases transport capacity which - in turn - lmeans shorter wait times and fewer shafts. Fewer shafts potentially allow buildings to increase revenue-generating uses. This technology will also be especially applicable as buildings increase in height, as traditional elevators have a maximum height, where this solution does not.
