HYDRO-Solutions and Purification was founded to address the issue of removing arsenic from the wastewater associated with mining activities. HS&P obtained a license from Solution Purification, Inc. (Sol-Pur) to utilize their patented process for the removal of arsenic from water by Enhanced Iron Co-Precipitation (EIC). This license gives HS&P exclusive rights for the use of the patent within the United States. HS&P has improved the efficiency of he EIC process, developed technology for theremoval of selenium and sulfates from water and wastewater, investigated reduction of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, and commenced a study for the reduction of boron in agricultural waters.
