Huxley Medical is organized around development of a flexible electronics platform designed to provide patients continuity of care regardless of location or healthcare. Funded by NSF, an initial focus has been on exploration of development and use of novel, unobtrusive, cost-effective sensors - in this stance reliably to detect apnea and hypopnea during sleep. The project outcomes are designed andintended to strengthen fundamental understanding of how physiological signals are altered during sleep apnea and how reliably to measure these signals using simple wearable patches. Overall, the project will advance understanding of new sensing modalities could provide sufficient diagnostic information with a single wireless patch
