Global Positioning Solutions, Inc. (GPS, Inc.) provids remote sensing technology through equipment, service, and technical support to the agricultural community in the Mid-South region. Through collaborations with several farmers in the area and research scientists at Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, Ms, GPS, Inc. is implementing an integrated model for producing a comprehensive and systematic operationally based crop stress management strategy. The management of GPS, Inc. perceives that its combination of gained knowledge of remote sensing techniques and experienced understanding of agricultural management practices will serve the company well in the emerging precision agricultural industry.
