Having outgrown the SBIR size standard some years ago, Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is no longer program active but has continued to provide environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure consulting and engineering services. In May 2022 it was announced that the Blackstone Group had acquired Geosyntec Consultants for an undisclosed amount. Offering environmental contamination studies and remediation, such as site investigation and remediation, and groundwater assessment and remediation; and risk assessment and applied toxicology, and subsurface vapor intrusion services, the company also publishes and presents its findings of research in forums. It serves private sector clients, such as oil and gas, chemical, aerospace, pharmaceutical, diversified manufacturing, advanced technology, power and utility, and environmental management clients, as well as regional and national developers, commercial property owners, and law firms. The company also serves public sector clients, including departments and agencies of municipal, state/regional, and national governments.
