Anchored in research undertaken at the University of Texas, Austin around dynamic filtering and Radio Frequency (RF)-photonics systems, GenXComm has developed a Simultaneous Self Interference Cancellation (S-SIX) technology that enables maximal use of available spectrum for wireless networks. This technology is aimed at enabling 5G cellular networks to cope with a significant increase of new wireless devices and increasing data demands. S-SIX enables true full duplex or simultaneous transmission and reception of signals in the same channel. GenXCommÂ’s technology can improve the throughput of the network by over an order of magnitude. S-SIX also significantly reduces the latency and improves network adaptability and security.
