FMW Composite Systems, Inc., (FMW) was formed to provide subcontract-manufacturing services to Teledyne Vehicle Systems for the production of the Flexcelä Fuel System. During the course of the initial contract during the years from 1995 until early 1997, TVS was sold to General Dynamics Land Systems ("GDLS"). In 1998, FMW acquired from GDLS all of its rights patents equipment and technology in Flexcel and has continued to market it to US Marine Corps and international markets. GDLS continues to market the system in parallel with FMW.FMW has evolved into a full-scale composite and filament winding company, which also provides engineering, development, manufacturing, and production expertise to commercial companies as well as the U.S. Military. FMW is a rapidly growing company, which explores new opportunities in the commercial market applications of filament winding, composite lay-up and environmentally friendly projects. The company retains ownership of all patents relative to the Flexcelä Fuel and FAST Systems and is in process of developing new systems. FMW has provided technological support to the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, NASA, General Dynamic Land Systems, Atlantic Research Corporation (a division of Sequa Corporation), Office of Naval Research, the oil and gas industry and many other commercial and governmental agencies. FMWs technical expertise and manufacturing services reside in design, development, and manufacture of polymer composites for first article test, small quantity uniquely designed production, prototype development and long manufacturing runs and meets QC/QA requirements, which were developed in conjunction with Teledyne and General Dynamics.
