For nearly three decades, Finisar has provided critical optics technologies to system manufacturers to meet the increasing demands for network bandwidth. Finisar is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, USA with R&D, manufacturing sites, and sales offices worldwide. Finisar has acquired 22 organizations - the most recent acquisition being LightSmyth Technologies on Sep 18, 2014 - several of which were much small but also SBIR involved firms.
