Productivity in many chemical syntheses and operations is held back by reliance on the old, time consuming liquid-liquid extraction method of processing and purifying chemicals. Faster Chemistry claims up to 90% less time and 50% less cost, less solvent use and less chemical exposure. While professors in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Louisville, the firm's founders invented the technology that is the core of the Faster Chemistry concept.
