Evogy develops solid oxide fuel cells ("SOFC"). The firm is currently under contract to a research and development program by the Electric Power Research Institute for thermal cycling, fuel utilization, anode and cost studies. Solid oxide fuel cells offer the greatest opportunity for mass-market uses due to a combination of factors.
