Environetix Technologies Corporation was founded as a technology-transfer spin-off from the University of Maine Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology. Environetix has been developing ground-breaking, patented piezoelectric surface acoustic wave sensor platforms and system for commercial and research applications. The firm is committed to making reliable and routine what is currently difficult or inaccessible when it comes to measuring high temperature, pressure, vibration and strain in harsh environments. The firms product line, the EVHT-100 system for harsh environment, high-temperature monitoring, was available for customized installation. Environetix provides custom high temperature wireless sensor solutions based on the EVHT-100 sensor system. In addition, Environetix is working with select partners to complete its initial line of pressure, vibration and strain sensors, to provide a full suite of sensors for taking measurements in harsh and extreme environments.
