In a collaboration with University of Washington and Astra Zeneca, Entox Sciences is working on a simple to use, high-throughput, fluidics system that detects drug toxicity prior to animal testing and human trials. Structured aound development of capabilities to analyze tissue function and viability in response to candidate compounds, the firm's analytical tools integrate a variety of unique technologies designed to reveal toxicity undetected by current assays and animal testing. Called Barofuse, the instrument developed by Entox Sciences instrument is designed to prevent unsafe drugs from going to clinical trials
