Public Profile

Energetiq Technology is structured around development and manufacture of ultra-bright broadband light sources for a wide variety of advanced applications in life and materials sciences, semiconductor manufacturing, and R&D. Energetiq's light sources are based on a revolutionary laser-driven light source technology that generates high brightness across the spectrum, with high reliability and long operating life in a compact package. The technology can be used in complex scientific and engineering applications such as analytical spectroscopy, microscopy, and sensing in the life-sciences; lithography, metrology and photoresist development in semiconductor manufacturing; soft x-ray microscopy; and a variety of applications where synchrotron radiation and traditional arc-lamps have commonly been used. In October 2017 it was announced that acquisition of Energetiq by Hamamatsu Photonics had been completed bringing Energetiq into the consolidated group of companies owned by Photonics Management Corp (PMC), of Bridgewater, NJ (USA) a subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics KK of Japan.
