EndoBiologics is a privately held biotechnology company focused on developing vaccines to prevent unconquered bacterial diseases. The company has developed technology that can produce these vaccines in more economical ways. Until May 2006, the firm was in collbaoration with VaxGen, Inc. (VXGN) to undertake early stage research into development of Meningitis B Vaccine with the focus on the smaller firms production methodologies. The company also has a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) with the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and grants from the Department of Defense for the development of vaccines to protect U.S. military troops against bacterial dysentery.
