Public Profile

Emota is pioneering the new field of Emotional Networking, which complements existing telehealth solutions to address not just clinical health, but emotional and social aspects of elder care. Headed by the former Director of Nortel's Incubator and its Open Inovation efforts, Emota Net has developed software and services for care of elderly patients, - a new "emotional networking" product - designed to help clinicians, caregivers and families support wellness for the aged, enabling connectedness over long distances. Imagine that even though you and your loved ones are living separate, independent lives, you can still maintain closeness and mutual awareness. To Health 2.0 communities, Emota is building an emota.net open collaborative platform. The Firm's emotaNudge web service interfaces expose core emota.net functionalities such as its UI components, Always-on Real-time Awareness and Context Engine technologies to 3rd party applications which will allow rapid integration with Patient Care Management, PHR/EMR Applications, Remote Patient Monitoring, and Telehealth applications
