Embedded Research Solutions (ERS) creates products and the enabling technologies for pervasive computing applications. The US National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) defines pervasive computing as, âthe strongly emerging trend toward numerous, casually accessible, often invisible computing devices, frequently mobile or embedded in the environment, and connected to an increasingly ubiquitous network structure.â Simply put â intelligent, connected devices that are everywhere.
