The vision of Elemance LLS as a firm is the protection and improvement of human life by providing virtual human body model based tools and expertise to enable truly human-centered design. The exclusive distributor of the GHBMC models, to both commercial and academic users, Elemance LLC licenses the complete inventory of human body models encompassing * both male and female * a range of postures, and * varying levels of complexity. Elemance also provides the licensing client comprehensive maintenance, enhancement and support of models, along with consulting services related to biomechanics, injury biomechanics, and other human modeling applications. The firm is a distriubutor of the Global Human Body Models Consortium (GHBMC) a single global effort to advance crash safety technology: an international consortium of 10 automakers and suppliers working to advance human body modeling technologies for crash simulations. Currently, the GHBMC series of human models consists of 13 models representing both detailed and simplified versions of the small female, average male, and large male in occupant and pedestrian postures, representing over 8 million dollars of industry investment over the past decade, with robust funding support for development expected to continue.
