Public Profile
EATTS has developed and patented a new technology that can help make rotorcraft safer and more reliable. Specifically, EATTS system is designed to counteract the torque from the main rotor system due to any type of tail rotor failure and/or complete loss of the tail rotor, for example; mechanical failure, rotor damage, RPGs and/or anti-aircraft hits to the tail rotor. EATTS designs and technology would allow a helicopter that has encountered tail rotor failure or loss to land safely within a set period of time, distance and or circumstances. Because all aircraft, especially rotorcraft and unmanned flight vehicles, are so highly sensitive to weight and center of gravity issues it was imperative that EATTS incorporate within its designs and technology materials that were extremely light weight and with CG sensitivity considerations. Incorporating EATTS most advanced designs and technologies, we have expanded the possibilities into additional territories necessary for the safety and survivability of todays manned and unmanned rotorcraft. Some of these areas would include close helicopter flight formation, for added precision and control, as a device to automatically correct for helicopter yawl due to strong wind gusts; and as a precision and emergency control device for unmanned rotorcraft
