With the principals having expertise in Biomedical Informatics, Dokbot is structured around Improving data collection in healthcare and research using using AI conversations (i.e. chatbots). Anchored in intellectual property and research licensed from the Biomedical Informatics Center (BMIC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Dokbot doesnt require users to understand the nuances of medical data. Neither does it expect healthcare professionals to understand how best to collect that data. With data collection a constant factor in healthcare, the tools used are often outdated, inaccurate, and difficult for patients. Dokbot uses modern software and an interface design to collect patient-reported information more completely and accurately. Firther, unlike most chatbots, Dokbot focuses on data collection by mimicking how a healthcare professional gathers information from patients. Users experience the interaction as a natural, flowing conversation designed for accuracy and ease of use.
