Public Profile

DIApedia is a medical device company which has successfully developed three products aimed at improving health outcomes for people suffering complications associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy: 1) the CAD/CAM Therapeutic Footwear System for designing therapeutic insoles. 2) The Load-Relieving Dressing System for healing diabetic ulcers, and 3) A Haptic Lens three-dimensional imaging device for obtaining plantar foot shape. The American Diabetes Association (ADA) estimates that there are currently more than 20 million people with diabetes in the US alone. Complications relating to the diabetic foot are estimated to contribute to more than 80,000 amputations, and place an annual burden of more than $10 billion on the US healthcare system. DIApedia was founded to address this issue.
