With close ties to the University of Texas, Dallas, Data Security Technologies LLC, is developing innovative technologies for securing big data stored in NoSQL systems. The firm's first product, SecureDL system, is being built on top of existing NoSQL systems (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark etc.) to enforce wide range of security, privacy and governance policies. In addition, SecureDL makes it easier to comply with many different regulations.
