In August 2013, Cap Wireles was acquired by TriQuint Semiconductor and now functions as part of that company. CAP designs, manufactures, tests and delivers microwave amplifiers. CAP Wireless initially developed its Spatium amplifier platform using gallium arsenide-based (GaAs) MMICs. GaN-based products from TriQuint can elevate Spatium to new levels of efficiency, power density, frequency coverage and output power. CAP Wireless, Inc products t0 address the requirements of Defense, Satellite Communications and major wireless telecommunication, defense electronics, and industrial/scientific/medical electronics markets worldwide. These markets include Wireless Communication Services (WCS), Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR), paging, cellular, Personal Communication Services (PCS), IMT-2000, Industrial-Scientific-Medical (ISM) and Wireless Local Loop (WLL)
