Cadre is a contract research group, consisting primarily of interdisciplinary Computer Science and Life Science PhDs, which focuses on custom scientific computing for the biotech, pharmaceutical, and forensics sectors. Many companies in these sectors have specific scientific computing needs that go beyond off-the-shelf software yet the companies don't have the in-house expertise to develop a solution on their own. Cadre provides an on-demand increase in research computing expertise to client companies. Cadre's Forensics division, Cadre Forensics, is developing TopMatch-GS 3D, an industry leading 3D imaging and analysis system for firearms forensics.
