Buckmaster Research is run by Professor Emeritus John D. Buckmaster of The University of Illinois. Professor Buckmaster retired in 2005 and spends one half of the year in Urbana, IL, one half in Eugene, OR. He is the sole proprietor of Buckmaster Research which does collaborative research with the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program. He is on the editorial board of the journal Combustion Theory and Modeling, published by Taylor and Francis
