Brontek Delta Corporation was founded originally as an independently owned spin-off of a research-oriented company, and with its primary business mission to advance commercial applications of a high density boron plasma source, particularly in electronics and optics. Since founding, Brontek Delta's flagship technology has been an efficient processing integrated circuits based on the high-density plasma source. The company is working with semiconductor industry consortia to get this technology to the prototype level and seeking partnerships to further the commercialization. Particular strong areas of expertise are plasma science, materials processing with plasma sources, materials processing with ion beams (including nanostructured materials) and surface characterization using ion beams (including Rutherford Backscattering Spectroscopy and Nuclear Activation Analysis).
