Public Profile

Pushing the boundaries of hardware manufacturing capabilities, 3D printing is enabling object creation objects not previously possible, testing design ergonomics, and allowing cost effective reworks. BotFactory has developed a robot able to creates Printed Circuit Boards in minutes: printing conductive traces, picking components and gluing them on a surface using conductive glue. Working on hardware design, embedded programming and web development using python - the effort is to reshape the electronics industry by making agile, reducing manufacturing time and incurred cost - providing new circuit materials to explore new applications. First product was launched in 2014 and has won several awards since then. Future of electronic circuit fabrication to desktop with the firm's line of PCB Printers. These small circuit printers allow prototyping in minutes (not day) weeks at click of a button. The firm's SV2 PCB Printer guides User through seamless process from bare substrate to a fully assembled and functional circuit board in a matter of minutes. PCB Printer includes an inkjet printhead dispensing very fine droplets of conductive ink and insulating ink, allowing createion of multilayered rigid and flexible circuits on FR-4, Kapton or any substrate of choice. Additionaly, each printer has two heads for dispensing glues and solder pastes, and another to pick-and-place components, allowing assemblof PCBs right at desktop.
