Public Profile

Bosonics develops optoelectronic systems and cost simulation software for optoelectronic manufacturing. The optoelectronic systems use hybrid integration techniques to construct smart camera image processing chips, optical beamscanners, and optical interconnects. The smart cameras have applications in pattern recognition and diagnostic medical imaging. The beamscanners and optical interconnects are designed for communication systems. The cost modeling software estimates the impact of design and process changes on optoelectronic fabrication cost. Software includes activity-based costing, total cost of ownership, and libraries of standard tools and processes.
